I am excited to announce that I'm celebrating my 100th Etsy sale today, and am doing a little contest / giveaway. The winner will receive one free pattern of your choice from my shop. If you're not a knitter, I am willing to knit you a baby size footwear item instead. Also, if anyone would like to use this as an opportunity to promote your products as part of the prize, just let me know and I'll add your item(s) to sweeten the pot! Either way, please enter, because it's always fun to win a prize and have a feature about you and what you do!
Here's what you need to do to be included:
1. Become a follower of the Pick n' Knit Blog here.
2. Write to me and tell me of an interesting story or talent that you think would be a good fit for the Blog (good way to get your name or shop out there too if you have one). Include pictures, be creative and e-mail your end results to picknknitpatterns@gmail.com!
3. Sit back and relax while I review and choose a winner, to be revealed 2 days after the contest deadline.
Contest deadline: Saturday, April 23rd, 2011
Good luck and thank you so much to all my wonderful customers who have gotten me this far!
I am a follower of your blog. I'm certainly not a knitter, but such a fan of these patterns. SO CUTE! plus...I'm having another girl so....PICK ME! : ) Akutarna@yahoo.ca
ReplyDeleteIm a follower. I have attempted knitting before and I am definately no natural! ha. But I would love to have a cute little pair for my little guy on the way! amiemendenhall@hotmail.com
ReplyDeletePick me, pick me!!! The only pair of felted footwear I've ever knit took me FOREVER to knit, and then were too tight around the ankles to even get my baby's feet in. They look great sitting on the shelf, but it was a very sad end to all that work. I'd love to work your patterns and never feel bad about the skinny booties again!

Alright guys, just to be clear, the winner I choose needs to give me some good content. I need you to e-mail me a talent, a craft idea, something you can share with us. Include pictures, be creative. The winner is going to be someone with a fun and unique idea or story to share. I love you all but it's not just a popularity contest, you need to show me what you've got! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your patterns. I love knitting felted bags...but was a little nervous to try anything else...you never know how it's going to turn out. :) One of my latest "obsessions" is creating things from felted wool sweaters. Here's a tutorial from my blog on how to make a birds nest from a felted sweater.
