Description:
This fun and gorgeous shoe PATTERN was inspired by a very bubbly friend of mine who told me she wanted to see a more feminine design in my shop. I love the ruffled detail and the 3 buttons. They would be great as house slippers, or put some durable soles on a pair and wear them outside as well. I love the idea of having a pair of shoes that you know nobody else will have! They would also make a very thoughtful gift.

Made from 100% felt-able yarn, these slippers are warm and stylish, the best of both worlds. Perfect for the knitting woman with a good sense of fashion and flare!

This pattern was written for the intermediate knitter, or the adventurous beginner. The whole shoe is knit in a simple garter stitch, and done seamlessly from the bottom-up. They are then felted to give them extra shape, strength and style. The more complicated techniques include knitting in the round, picking up stitches and short-rows. Very detailed instructions throughout, including many high definition photos to take you step by step throughout the knitting process. If you’ve never done any felting before, don’t be intimidated. The pattern will tell you all the details you’ll need to know, including instructions for top-loading and front-loading washing machines, as well as a hand-felting alternative, for whatever your circumstances.

Also available is a video tutorial for Short-Rows found under the "Help" tab above.
