Description:
These clog-style slippers are extra warm, cozy and comfortable; perfect for around the house or a cozy night sitting by the fire.  I consider this an advanced-beginner to intermediate level knitting pattern, which is then felted to give extra shape and strength. The whole shoe is knit in a simple garter stitch, and done seamlessly from the bottom-up. The more complicated techniques include short-rows, buttonholes and picking up stitches and knitting in the round. Very detailed instructions throughout, including many high definition photos to take you step by step throughout the knitting process.
Also available are video tutorials for the following techniques found within the pattern:
Buttonhole
Cable Cast-On
Short-Rows
All my tutorials can be found under the "Help" tab at the top of this site.

If you’ve never felted before, this is a perfect beginner project! It’s felted in the washing machine, in an easy peasy process, and there are detailed instructions to guide you along the way. Instructions are given for Top Loading and Front Loading washing machines, as well as a Hand Felting alternative, for whatever your circumstances may be.
