So, life has been pretty relaxed lately. We've had ups and downs in the weather, and so we're feeling a little leery trusting it when it gets warm out, because it usually only lasts a few days. My husband had a week off from school before starting his spring semester, so we took a little family vacation to Minneapolis, and when we got back, the snow fort in our front yard had been replaced by green grass {okay, more like brown with a few greenish spots, but we'll take it}, which was a fun surprise. So the next day, this is what we did…
We got the kids a new t-ball set and soccer ball in Minneapolis, so they played in the yard while the trampoline got set up, and then...they had a ball jumping around for the rest of the afternoon.
It was a lot of fun, and by the end of it all, 3 out of 4 kids were still smiling…not bad eh?
And it's a good thing we got that one spring day in, because the next day there was a foot of snow on the trampoline, and there's only been a few warm days since!
Today, for instance, was a rainy day, so we enjoyed our time inside making puppets…
Precious moments and spending time together are the best parts about being a mother :)
